RAISE A TOASTIE

RAISE AWARENESS ON RARE DISEASE DAY

We have planned an exciting event for Rare Disease Day on Sunday, February 28. We want you to raise a toastie to raise awareness for those living with a rare disease in Ireland. Join Rare Diseases Ireland in creating and donating, and help make the voices of people living with rare diseases heard.

Getting involved couldn’t be simpler: we are asking you to create a delicious toasted-sandwich in the comfort of your own home, with your family, or host a virtual event with friends and have a catch-up over a toastie on Rare Disease Day on Sunday, February 28th.

Be as inventive as possible, or just keep it classic, but be sure to have fun!

Share your melted marvels across social media with the hashtags #RaiseAToastie & #RareDiseaseDay. Please donate to Rare Diseases Ireland, so we can continue the work we do and amplify the voices of people living with rare diseases in Ireland.

Be sure to follow our social media channels – in the run up to Rare Disease Day we will be sharing recipes and videos for novel and creative toasties for all the family, including some for those with dietary restrictions. If you have any toastie recipes that you would like to share, please email your recipes to us. Don’t forget to tell us why this is your favourite recipe and send us a photo or even a video.

We look forward to seeing you
